This Grow a Garden mutation calculator adds up every mutation on your crop and shows the total multiplier. Choose a variant, select each mutation your crop carries, and the calculation updates instantly. Add the crop's value as well to see what it sells for.
All Grow a Garden mutations
This mutation chart lists every mutation in Grow a Garden, 192 in total, from Goldsparkle at ×500 down to common weather mutations at ×2. You can search it by name, or sort it from highest to lowest or from A to Z.
Each row also shows how you get that mutation, whether from weather, an event, a pet or a fusion. A fusion is a mutation the game creates by combining others on the same crop.
Cyclonic ×50
Plus Tempestuous on the same crop
Maelstrom ×100
Replaces both ingredients
For example, the Cyclonic mutation multiplier is ×50 on its own, and Cyclonic fuses with Tempestuous into Maelstrom, which is worth ×100.
What can this calculator do?
This calculator finds the total multiplier for one variant plus any number of mutations. It also applies the game's fusion rules for you, so the result matches what your crop can actually carry.
- Pick one variant, such as Gold or Rainbow, or leave it on Normal.
- Search for each mutation on your crop, or browse the list by its type.
- Select a mutation to add it, and select it again to remove it.
- Enter the crop's value before mutations if you want the sell price.
- Read the total multiplier and the step-by-step calculation below it.
- +If you then add Wet and Chilled, the calculator fuses them into Frozen.
- =The total rises to ×4,560.

How do mutation multipliers stack?
Mutation multipliers stack by adding together, not by multiplying each other. The game adds up every mutation's multiplier, subtracts one for each mutation, and then adds one back.

Written as a formula, the mutation total equals 1 plus the sum of all multipliers, minus the number of mutations. Players often call these environmental mutations, because most of them come from weather, events and pets.
The subtraction exists because every multiplier already includes the crop's normal value of ×1. Without it, a crop with five mutations would count its own base price five extra times.
| Mutations on the crop | Calculation | Mutation total |
|---|---|---|
| Wet | 1 + 2 − 1 | ×2 |
| Shocked and Wet | 1 + 102 − 2 | ×101 |
| Shocked and Celestial | 1 + 220 − 2 | ×219 |
| Shocked, Celestial and Wet | 1 + 222 − 3 | ×220 |
Some guides say mutations multiply together, which would make Shocked with Celestial worth ×12,000.
The real total is ×219, so a price built on that method is over 50 times too high.
Small mutations matter much less once a powerful one is already on the crop. Adding Wet to a Shocked crop only moves it from ×100 to ×101, while adding Celestial more than doubles it.
The game then multiplies this total by the crop's base value, weight bonus and Friend Boost. Our crop value calculator runs that full price for you.
What do Gold, Rainbow and other variants do?

A variant multiplies the whole mutation total, and each crop can carry only one variant at a time. Variants are the only part of the formula that multiplies instead of adding.
| Variant | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Normal | ×1 |
| Silver | ×5 |
| Gold | ×20 |
| Rainbow | ×50 |
| Diamond | ×50 |
The Gold multiplier is ×20, so a Gold crop with no mutations sells for 20 times its normal value. Rainbow is worth ×50, and Diamond matches it at ×50.
For example, a Rainbow crop with Shocked and Celestial reaches ×10,950, because 50 times 219 equals 10,950, while a Silver one reaches ×1,095.
Some lists also show Ripe next to the variants, but Ripe carries no price multiplier and does not change what the crop sells for.
Which mutations fuse into stronger ones?

In Grow a Garden, 39 mutations can only be created by fusing other mutations together. When every ingredient of a fusion sits on the same crop, the game removes those ingredients and adds the fused mutation in their place.
A fusion is usually worth more than its ingredients kept apart. Celestial and Aurora together would give ×209, but fused into Cosmic they give ×240.
| Ingredients on the crop | Fuses into | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Wet or Drenched + Chilled | Frozen | ×10 |
| Wet or Drenched + Sandy | Clay | ×5 |
| Clay + Sundried, Fried, Burnt, Molten or Cooked | Ceramic | ×32 |
| Verdant + Sundried | Paradisal | ×100 |
| Chakra + Corrupt Chakra | Harmonised Chakra | ×35 |
| Celestial + Aurora | Cosmic | ×240 |
| Cosmic + Galactic | Astral | ×365 |
- Some fusions build on earlier ones, so getting Ceramic takes two separate steps. First combine Sandy with Wet to make Clay, then add a heat mutation such as Sundried.
- Ceramic also follows one special rule, because Molten and Sundried stay on the crop after the fusion. Some guides list Ceramic at ×50, but every current list agrees on ×32.
The mutation chart above displays the complete recipe for all 39 fusions in its final column.
What happens when two mutations clash?
When two mutations clash, the crop can keep only one of them, so the newer mutation replaces the older one. Burnt and Cooked work this way, because a crop can never carry both.
- Fusions and their ingredients
- Ingredients also clash with their own fusion, so a Frozen crop cannot gain Wet or Chilled again. Frozen already contains both of those mutations.
- Amber stages
- Amber replaces itself as it ages, so a crop only ever holds one Amber stage. Amber (×10) turns into Old Amber (×20) after 24 hours, and Old Amber later ages into Ancient Amber (×50).
The calculator also treats Wet with Drenched and Moonlit with Bloodlit as clashing pairs. No current source confirms these two pairs yet, so we will update them after checking.
What is the highest mutation multiplier in Grow a Garden?

Goldsparkle has the highest mutation multiplier in Grow a Garden at ×500. Astral comes second at ×365, and Stormbound sits third at ×270.
| Rank | Mutation | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Goldsparkle | ×500 |
| 2 | Astral | ×365 |
| 3 | Stormbound | ×270 |
| 4 | Abyssal | ×240 |
| 5 | Cosmic | ×240 |
| 6 | Ascended Chakra | ×230 |
| 7 | Contagion | ×205 |
| 8 | Harmonised Foxfire Chakra | ×190 |
| 9 | Infernal | ×180 |
| 10 | Stormcharged | ×180 |
Nine of the top ten are fusions, so the biggest numbers usually require several mutations on one crop first. Goldsparkle is the only exception, because a single pet can apply it directly to a fruit.
Only Astral and Contagion in the top ten are marked admin-only, meaning they appear only during events run by the game's developers.
Some guides name Astral or Dawnbound as the highest mutation in the game.
Goldsparkle beats both of them, and Dawnbound at ×150 does not even reach the top ten.
For the highest possible total, combine the strongest mutations and finish with a Rainbow or Diamond variant. For example, Goldsparkle and Stormbound together on a Rainbow crop reach ×38,450.
How many mutations are there?
There are 192 crop mutations in Grow a Garden on our current list, plus the four variants called Silver, Gold, Rainbow and Diamond. Of those 192 mutations, 34 appear only during admin events.
Total: 192 mutations
Other published lists count anywhere from about 100 to 190 mutations, mostly because some leave out older event mutations. The game adds new ones in many updates, so the calculator shows the date of our latest check.
Pets have a separate set of mutations, such as Mega and Tiny, which change a pet's size and hunger rather than a crop's price. Our pet calculator covers those pet mutations.
Which weather events and pets give mutations?
Weather events give most of the common mutations, and many pets add their own while they stay active in your garden. Each weather event targets a specific mutation, as the table shows.
| Weather event | Mutation | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Rain | Wet | ×2 |
| Tropical Rain | Drenched | ×5 |
| Frost | Chilled | ×2 |
| Night | Moonlit | ×2 |
| Blood Moon | Bloodlit | ×4 |
| Sandstorm | Sandy | ×3 |
| Windy | Windstruck | ×2 |
| Tornado | Twisted | ×5 |
| Heatwave | Sundried | ×85 |
| Aurora Borealis | Aurora | ×90 |
| Thunderstorm | Shocked | ×100 |
| Meteor Shower | Celestial | ×120 |
To get Chilled, leave your crops outside during Frost. A crop that is already Wet turns Frozen instead, because the two mutations fuse together.
Thunderstorms make crops Wet, but Shocked only lands on a crop that lightning actually hits. Admin weather adds rarer mutations, such as Voidtouched from Black Hole and Dawnbound from Sun God.
| Pet | Mutation it applies | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Rainbow Goldfinch | Goldsparkle | ×500 |
| Disco Bee | Disco | ×125 |
| Fire Fly | Shocked | ×100 |
| Griffin | Cyclonic | ×50 |
| Chicken Zombie | Zombified | ×25 |
| Queen Bee | Pollinated | ×3 |
A pet's chance to apply its mutation usually grows as the pet gets heavier. Our pet ability calculator lists each pet's exact chance and cooldown at your pet's weight.
Where do these numbers come from?
Every multiplier on this page comes from five independent fan-made mutation lists, which we compared on . The fusion recipes come from two separate fan-made guides that agree on every shared recipe.
- Verified covers 172 mutations, where at least two of the five lists give the same number.
- One source covers 16 newer or rarer mutations that only a single list includes so far.
- Sources differ covers 4 mutations, such as Heartbound at ×50 or ×100, and the calculator shows both totals.
The game's developers do not publish a full multiplier table, so community lists remain the best reference available. Updates can change any value, and we recheck the lists after major updates.
If a multiplier does not match your game, report it with the mutation name and a screenshot of the sell price. We built this calculator as players, and we have no official link with Roblox or the game's makers.
