Grow a Garden Calculator brings together free tools that help players price crops, plan mutations, size up pets and check trades. Every result shows the math behind it, so you can see exactly how a number was reached.
Who runs this site
This site is built and maintained by Declan H., a Roblox developer from the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been making games and experiences on Roblox since 2017, and projects he has worked on have passed 2 million visits.
Declan specializes in map building and terrain design, and he has created environments for large Roblox roleplay games. He also builds his own games in Luau, including an obby with more than 110 stages that he designed, scripted and launched on his own.
He works full-time as a game developer and studies computer science at San Francisco State University. As president of the university's Game Development Club, he led a community of more than 70 student developers and ran Roblox Studio workshops for new creators.
Why we built it
Grow a Garden players kept running into the same problems. Values were scattered across many sites, and many lists filled gaps with placeholder numbers or never said when they were last checked.
We wanted one place where every tool explains its math, every value shows its source and every page shows when its data was checked.
Because Declan builds on Roblox himself, he knows how often an update can change the numbers overnight.
How we check our data
We gather values from several community trackers and compare them with each other before anything goes live.
- Values that two sources agree on are marked Verified.
- Values that only one source lists are marked One source.
- Values where sources disagree are marked Sources differ, and both figures are shown.
- Pets without reliable data are listed without a made-up number.
Each calculator displays the day its data was last reviewed. When a player reports a wrong value, we check it against the game and update the data if the evidence supports it.
